It is seven weeks to Christmas and the countdown to Christmas is finally here.  Everywhere around me, I am seeing Christmas lights go up, Christmas trees being sold, It is only just November!  I believe Christmas comes earlier every year and 2021 is no different and I LOVE IT! yes I am one of those Christmassy people and I can not wait for December 1st so I can go mad with decorations and trees....

I think this year will be an extra special festive season, as last year we all had to deal with lockdown and the pandemic.  Although COVID 19 hasn't gone away, we are all trying to live with this horrible circumstance the best we can.  This Christmas I am ready for it.  Bring it on!  With us all leading very busy lives these days, I do believe in preparation.  Not always going to plan I admit, but with this years supply chain issues faced by global companies alone, brings me to think Christmas is going to be no different.  A little bit of panic draws over me, thinking I may miss out on something we need for this really special time of year.  Like the Turkey! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!

We find our customers are also being extra specially cautious in the same way we are here at Homeseal.  With the challenging times we have seen this year in our industry caused by a number of factors, we have noticed our customers are planning further and further ahead into the future.  Very wisely they are preparing for months in advance for such things as warm roof conservatories and sky lantern extensions to name a few.  One of the trends we have seen come to the surface this week, is a massive increase of customers wanting to place orders in advance for projects upcoming for next Spring 2022.  I believe the word is out and getting in quick in key.  Although the industry is gradually getting back on track, with high demand still a huge factor I do not see this changing anytime soon.  We are recruiting and investing in our future progressively.  Exciting times are ahead and I will let you know more soon.

With this is mind, I am now making additional appointment spaces available with our Homeseal team, to accommodate the trend.  To book your FREE, NO obligation quotation please call 01246 766 466 or email info@homesealwdc.co.uk

You can always pop down and visit our Chesterfield showroom.  Take a walk around our conservatory village and hopefully by then, I should have Christmas-ised the showroom.  A little sparkle and bling is always in order at Christmas time!

Don't miss out!

I look forward to seeing you!

There are numerous choices available to our customers for their warm roof tiles options.

I don't know about you guys, but here at Homeseal it has been a crazy year for us and the crazy is still going strong.  A lot of industry experts have stated over the past few months that things are going to get worse before they get better.  We are still seeing very high demands in our products and services, supply chains are still struggling and yes, Covid is still around causing mayhem.  As a company we took the decision early on to still implement certain guidelines for the protection of our staff and customers.  In our Chesterfield showroom face masks and hand sanitiser is freely available for all, plus our employees are still regularly tested as a precaution.  We understand first hand how devastating this horrible virus can be.

Coming through this year has been a little bit of an eye opener on a few of our products and services.  The most popular is an increase in our warm roof tiled systems.

For eight years now we have been using Supalite and our customers love their brand.  Launched in 2012 they have created a much loved lightweight and easy to install solid roof which fits onto an existing conservatory window frame.  The roof is fully calculated and accredited for Building Regulations approval for the space in order for it to be usable all year round.

So what are the benefits of a warm roof tiled system?

ADDED VALUE

In the world of estate agents a conservatory isn't considered a functional living space, which means you are limited to what can add value, but if you turn that space into a functional living area, there is more potential to increase the value of your home.  While there are still no guarantees and it is always a good idea to consult your estate agent first, a roof is certainly a good choice when increasing value.

A ROOM FOR ALL SEASONS

Conservatories come in many shapes and sizes these days.  Colours such as Anthracite Grey are seeing an increase in popularity and customers want their rooms to be more habitable places.  With more people working and staying at home than ever before, we have found customers want more from their homes and quite rightly too.  Buying a home is one of the most expensive purchases someone can make and utilising that purchase to its full potential is what Homeseal helps with every day.  With conservatories for example, in the summer months the temperature can rise to sweltering levels and in the winter it can sometimes feel like you are stepping into an ice cube.  We help customers find a solution to these issues such as a warm roof tiled system.  We know too well an insulated roof controls the temperature, which means you can access the room all year round.

EXTRA ROOM

If you are anything like me, you are always wanting more room in the house.  It would be nice for a laundry room, somewhere I can close the door on the mountain of washing that I have to do every week.  (No! scrap that, a me room).  Somewhere I can hide, with a glass of wine and a really good book.  I call this my tiny office at the moment but that does not stop little feet coming in.  My upcoming project to my own house is to transfer my conservatory into that extra room I have always dreamed of having and with a warm roof tiled system, this can happen.

After a warm roof has been installed

AFTER

We have recently transformed one of our smallest conservatories into a warm roof.  The customer was over the moon.....

COMPLIANT

Most conservatory roof replacements do not need planning permission, however if you are unsure here at Homeseal we always advise you to double check.  We find peace of mind in knowing that all Supalite conservatory roofs are insurance approved, JHAI approved and meet all building regulations.

WOW!

Integrating with existing architectural and building elements is what makes a warm roof tiled system an excellent choice to any conservatory.  Unlike glass conservatories, they open up a whole range of interior and exterior styling options to you the customer.  Spotlights and downlight seem to be the most popular of choices lately.  As is integrated sound systems and visual equipment and we as installers of these warm roof tiled systems, like neat aesthetics.

Our Chesterfield showroom has many visitors coming through its doors daily to walk around our conservatory village.  I personally think our customers like to visibly see and feel our products first hand before they make a decision.  Knowing our products are well made and pleasing to the eye is a big factor for many of our customers.  One of our biggest selling points is the range of tile colour and designs we have available to our customers, plus here at Homeseal our customers also like the additional roofing window systems such as Supplies SkyVista and SkyElevate that can be implemented into the warm roof tiled system.

Whether you have a Victorian, Edwardian or even P shape conservatory roof Homeseal can design, supply and fit a warm roof tiled system to suit you.

As well as the benefits mentioned above, a warm roof :

  • Keeps conservatories cool on sunny days, even in direct sunlight

  • Has a low risk of burglaries and tiles can withstand attempted removal

  • Prevents any leaks with watertight installation

  • Eliminates noise from rain, wind and wildlife

  • Cuts most glare experienced with polycarbonate or glass roofs

  • Eliminates the need to climb ladders to clean dirty roofs

  • Is designed and tested to standards demanded by the JHAI

  • Boasts rapid installation times, HOMESEAL can transform your conservatory in 3-4 weeks

MAKING YOUR DREAM HOME A REALITY

Homeseal can install wet rooms and sepcialises in bathroom adaptations.

It seems 2017 is going to be full of suprises, with the old farmhouse style kitchen making a huge come back.

This year's favourite kitchen style trend is going to be The Farmhouse, I always said wood paneling would be back. I do see alot of contemporary styles going through our doors still. They are always very popular, especially with all the TV programmes on at the moment, showing sparkly new innovative designs. Custom storage, Stainless Steel and shiplap is also on trend for 2017.

WELCOME!

Firstly let me introduce myself.

Hi my name is Stephanie and I have been given the most amazing job of helping you make your dream home a reality.

In this blog I will be giving my opinion on various aspects, advice, hints and tips on home improvements and show you how Homeseal can help you achieve your dream home.

I was born into the home improvements industry over 40 years ago now, and hopefully myself and my families experience and knowledge we have gained over the years can be put to good use and help you.

Stainless Steel is always timeless. It always comes out on top for our customers when buying their new appliances. Clean, silver finish, but now apparently black stainless steel is set to be a show stopper this coming year. Dishwashers are also on the up this year too. Upgrading appliances is always exciting when designing a new kitchen. This year we are set to see not only an increase on gas ranges, but in new gadget appliances such as pizza ovens. Now I know my husband would love this is our kitchen.

Smarter storage choices are going to be made this year. Homeowners are focusing more on custom solutions in their kitchens rather than off the shelf. Pull out waste or recycling cabinets, cookie tray organisers and of course the most important, wine and bar cabinets. Yep! I can see all those in my kitchen, may need a little help with spatial awareness though, especially for the cookie tray organiser. Girls got to have the basic's, Wine and Cookies!

Worktops are always going to be high priority when choosing your kitchen. Granite is my favourite. This year we are going to see more worktop upgrades. This is becoming more popular for homeowners when redesigning their kitchens. Backsplashes and sinks are also a close favourite for upgrading in a kitchen.

Refreshing your kitchen with paint is always a clear winner, when trying to re-invent your kitchen. A quick and easy refresh is simple and cost effective for all budgets. Colour is always a powerful way of change and I sometimes see customers trying to hard to solve their needs with bright multicolour, when neutral is simple and sometimes best. White, is always popular and this year is no different, although multi-colour is making tracks. especially when it comes to worktops.

Finally in recently reports from the USA, they have indicated that renovating your kitchen is actually good for your health. People had stated that their overall healthier lifestyle was down to them renovating their Kitchen space. Inspired to prepare and cook more healthier meals at home, was a huge factor in the home owners reports. So this year is going to bring a clear picture of bright, fresh, new farmhouse style and healthier kitchen design to renovating customers out there, with a hint of cookie trays and wine, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I am extremely lucky to live and work near the very beautiful Peak District, as Homeseal Ltd is based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
